Bookstore Ministry
Is designed to provide Christian books, audio and video recordings of messages taught at various services and other Christian-oriented items.

The focus of this ministry is to equip, train and organize the members to go out and share with family, neighbors and their community who Jesus Christ is
TLC Healthcare Ministry
The Tender Loving Care Healthcare Ministry is a ministry comprised of healthcare providers that are dedicated to serving the congregation in times of a health crisis.
Counseling Ministry
Helps to provide Biblical counseling to help overcome problems that Christians face. This ministry answers problems found in the Word of God to help meet mental and spiritual needs to continue walking with Christ.
Hospitality Ministry
Provides food services to church family, friends, and visitors during special events.
New Member Orientation
Provides the vision, strategies, principles and core values of the church for all new members of Silverlake. The plan of salvation is given for you to be sure that if you were to die today that you would go to heaven.
Adult Greeter’s Ministry
Provides every member, visitor and guest with a warm welcome in the form of a smile, hug and/or a handshake. Greeters give direction on the location of the information desk, bookstore, sanctuary, restrooms, children’s church and more.
Rapha Ministry
Is dedicated to the well being of fellow members of Silverlake. Their mission is to accelerate healing through prayer and encouragement by way of get well cards, etc. Quarterly meetings are held Monday after the 1st Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Months: February, May, August and November.
Parking Lot Ministry
Provides adequate, safe, and easily accessible parking for those worshipping during Sunday services. Meetings are normally held when needed on Tuesdays or Sundays.
Adult Usher’s Ministry
Provides a friendly atmosphere to all members and guest. The role of this ministry is to direct, seat and control the flow of traffic while maintaining discipline and order. This ministry is for adults ages 18 and up. All adult ushers are asked to volunteer on 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays.
Couple’s Ministry
Provides an approach where couples can come together and discover how to mature, nourish and develop their relationship within the will of Christ. This ministry is designed to help relationships become more structured and meaningful with their spouse or significant other.
Adult/Young Adult Ministry
Focusses on developing men and women of like faith to connect, grow, and transform spiritually, mentally, and physical. Our goal is to help equip adults to live abundant lives and to move foward in their Christian development.
Combined Choirs
Adult Men & Women, Young Adults and Youth Choirs sing combined each 1ST Sunday of the month. Rehearsals are scheduled on the Thursday after the 4th and or 5th Sunday of the month.

Men’s Ministry (Iron Sharpens Iron)
Provides a place for all men to come together and create healthy habits to walk closer with Christ. This ministry helps men to become dedicated within their hearts, minds, family, church and community.
Women’s Ministries
Provides hope for women through biblical teachings by way of sister love, kindness, encouragement and related experiences. Meetings are once per month which includes outreach and evangelism by serving the homeless once per quarter.
Combined/ Women/ Young Adult Choirs/ Adult Praise Dancers
Provides praise and worship in a spirit of excellence under God’s divine anointing. This ministry helps lead others through song by helping to compel the lost to receive salvation and to help add strength and encouragement to those who are saved.
Single’s Ministry
Is a source of fellowship and support for single adults looking to build a healthy relationship with God. This ministry will help single adults learn, grow and follow God’s plan for their lives.
Youth Ushers/Greeters
To help assist with seating arrangements and making members and guest feel welcome during their attendance here at Silverlake.
Youth/Children’s Ministry
Youth/Children Ministries is to focus on helping youth strive to build stronger relationships with Christ, other youth, adults and family. This ministry is designed to build character, integrity and confidence among teens and their peers.
Youth/Children Praise Dancers
This group ministers through dance in the form of worshipping and praising God. These dancers are ministering to spread the Gospel of Jesus by presenting their bodies as a living sacrifice. Contact the church for additional information on how your child may play a part in this ministry.
Let’s Talk About It – Teen Bible Study
Focus on teen issues and topics in an open forum setting. Teens are taught on how to handle issues relating to family, school and their community from a Biblical standpoint. Meetings are held each Tuesday night @ 7:15 p.m. (AGES 14-17)
Youth/Children Sunday Church School
Helps children and youth study topics that are interesting and enriching for spiritual development. Classes meet each Sunday Morning @ 9:30 a.m. (Ages ranges – Pre K, Children and Youth)
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Prays daily to empower the vision that God has given Silverlake Church. This ministry provides intercessory prayer to help fulfill the needs of this church. Ministry meets for prayer each Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. and each Sunday fifteen minutes prior to 8/10 & 12 noon services in the Main Sanctuary.
Prison Ministry
Provides bible-based teachings of Silverlake Church to men who are incarcerated. Our goal is to win the lost, heal the sick, and bring deliverance to people that are bound. Prison Ministry monthly meetings are Wednesdays after the 3rd Sunday at 7:00 p.m
Job Support Ministry
Assist fellow Christians in career guidance through job postings, job orders, job fairs and encouragement in becoming gainfully employed. This ministry consists of members who work with Job Placement or Human Resource Departments.
A.R.I.S.E. MINISTRY
DRUG & ALCOHOL RECOVERY) – Provides support and assistance to those who are experiencing or have experienced a life transition of drug and alcohol addiction.
Drama Ministry
To promote the gospel through visual art of dramatic production cast by members of Silverlake Church. Please contact the church to see how you may become a part of this dynamic ministry.
Children’s Ministry
Focus on giving God praise and worship through song. Rehearsals are scheduled on Saturday after the 2nd Sunday from 10am to 10:45am. (Children minister through song on the 3rd Sunday of the month during the 12noon Service. (Ages 3 to 10)
Cornerstone (Special Needs Ministry)
Is available to serve Youth and Adults regardless of learning abilities, behavioral, physical or health differences. We are certified individuals, who are capable of advocating for families, provide resource information, assist families in locating adequate service and encourage and support families spiritually.
Seasoned Seniors (55&up)
Meet each Tuesday after the 2nd Sunday of the month at 6:00pm.
Drill Team
The Amazing Grace Drill Team are poised for unprecedented success in the drill team ministry. We must come together (as family) offering our audience a truly integrated and unified approach. The integration of each cadet and staff member will present a powerful and end-to-end spirit-fed youth ministry enabling us to minister effectively to those we come in contact with.
Public Relations Ministry
is responsible for strengthening the mission and ministry of Silverlake Church through effective electronic and visual communication. The PR Ministry uses branding and creativity to inform Silverlake Church members, visitors and guests, of upcoming church events.
